Bitcoin's price has made a significant recovery to around $68,000 after a brief drop following the confirmation of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's death in US-Israeli airstrikes. The cryptocurrency had temporarily fallen to approximately $63,000 before recovering rapidly.
The abrupt price movement led to significant liquidations in the crypto market, with data from CoinGlass showing that positions worth around $490 million were liquidated within 24 hours. This includes $196 million in Bitcoin positions and $132 million in Ethereum.
