XRP Analyst Warns of Potential Breakdown Amidst Selloff
Crypto analyst Steph Is Crypto has raised concerns about XRP's recent decline, comparing its performance to that of Stellar (XLM). While XLM surged over 90% in a short period due to a DTCC integration announcement, XRP fell approximately 15%. This contrast has caught the attention of investors and analysts.
The key variable in Steph's analysis is the long-term support trend line stretching back more than ten years. Historically, XRP has bounced sharply when testing this level, with the most recent bounce pushing it up by over 500% in late 2024. However, this pattern may be under threat.
Steph emphasized that Sunday's weekly candle close is crucial in determining whether a breakdown is confirmed. A close above $1.30 would keep the double bottom scenario alive and remove the immediate threat of a confirmed breakdown. Conversely, a close below $1.30 could lead to lower targets.
