THORChain Suffers Suspected Exploit Worth Over $10 Million
THORChain, a cross-chain protocol, has been hit by a suspected exploit worth more than $10.7 million. The attack affected multiple blockchain networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Base.
ZachXBT, an on-chain investigator, reported the incident, citing addresses linked to the theft. He also published a list of addresses believed to be involved in the hack.
PeckShield confirmed the attack, estimating around $10 million in stolen crypto assets. Specifically, this includes 36.75 BTC worth approximately $3 million, as well as around $7 million in assets across BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Base.
