Rather than predicting the future of cryptocurrency, Robinhood is offering its users a chance to speculate on the price of Ethereum (ETH) at a specific point in time. According to the contract terms, users will be able to wager on the ETH price on June 24, 2026, at 10pm EDT.
The final value used to determine this market is based on CF Benchmarks' corresponding Real Time Index (RTI). At the last minute before expiration, 60 RTI prices are collected. The official and final value is the average of these prices.
User predictions can be either correct or incorrect, with payouts usually within one hour of event resolution. Users who close their position before the event resolves will incur additional fees.
