Crypto Liquidations Hit $128M as Long Positions Dominate
Crypto derivatives traders were hit with $128.64 million in forced liquidations over the past 24 hours, according to data from CoinGlass.
The bulk of the damage landed on long positions, totaling about $100.95 million versus roughly $27.69 million in short liquidations.
This imbalance typically reflects a market where traders leaned heavily into continuation trades, only to be forced out as price swings expanded and stop-out levels were triggered.
The most intense liquidation clusters centered around Bitcoin, accounting for about $66.91 million, followed by Ethereum at roughly $33.15 million.
