BitMine Boosts Ethereum Holdings with $8 Billion Acquisition

BitMine, a leading crypto investment firm chaired by Tom Lee, has made significant additions to its Ethereum holdings. The company acquired an additional 61,000 ETH, bringing its total stash to nearly 4.6 million tokens.

The purchase is part of BitMine's strategy to invest in Ethereum and other growth stocks, which it believes will continue to outperform traditional assets. According to Lee, the asset is in the final stages of the mini-crypto winter, making it an attractive investment opportunity.

BitMine's total stash now includes its ETH fortune, 196 BTC, a $200 million stake in Beast Industries, a $83 million stake in Eightco, and $1.2 billion in cash, totaling $11.5 billion. Its Ethereum holdings represent 3.81% of the entire asset supply.
