Bitcoin Falls Below $60,000 Amid US Rate Hike Fears and Strategy Risks
Bitcoin's price fell below $60,000 on June 29th as concerns about a potential US interest rate hike and financial risks surrounding Strategy weighed on the market.
The cryptocurrency was trading at $59,486 on CoinMarketCap, down 0.68% from 24 hours earlier, and 6.43% lower compared to a week ago.
The price of Bitcoin plummeted to $58,189 on June 25th before recovering the $60,000 level on June 27th, only to turn lower again.
