DeFi Protocols Get Tool to Upgrade Vyper Smart Contracts

A new tool has been released to help DeFi protocols upgrade their Vyper smart contracts to modern syntax.

The tool, called vyupgrade, automates the rewriting of legacy contracts to make them compatible with current compiler versions.

It uses a series of equivalency checks to ensure that the rewritten contracts behave identically to the originals.
