Ethereum Continues to Outperform Bitcoin with Record-Breaking Inflows
Ethereum's price has been on the rise over the past week, with significant gains in both daily and weekly inflows. According to recent data, Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have seen a dramatic turnaround from three consecutive weeks of outflows totaling over $308 million. The week ending April 10 saw a record-breaking surge in weekly inflows, reaching $187 million.
This marks the best performance for Ethereum ETFs so far this year and is a clear indication that investor interest in the cryptocurrency is on the rise. Additionally, the number of Ethereum whale wallets holding 100,000 ETH or more has increased by 5.5% over the past week, according to Santiment's analysis.
The surge in demand for Ethereum ETFs is also reflected in the decrease in flows into bitcoin ETFs. According to SoSoValue data, Fidelity's FBTC had a net outflow of $229 million and ARK's ARKB saw a net outflow of $63 million on April 13.
