Bitcoin Price Reaches $78K Before Sudden Dip, Altcoins Shine

The price of Bitcoin (BTC) reached $78,000 earlier today but was quickly halted by bearish forces, causing it to dip below that level. This price fluctuation marks a continuation of the cryptocurrency's recovery from its recent decline.

While BTC's performance has been somewhat mixed, other altcoins have seen significant gains in the past 24 hours. HYPE (HYPE) has experienced a notable surge, increasing by 19% to reach $58 and inching closer to an all-time high. ZEC (Zcash) has also added over 13% of value, trading above $660.

The total crypto market capitalization has seen a substantial increase of over $30 billion in the past day, reaching nearly $2.68 trillion on CoinGecko. However, Ethereum's price remains relatively stable at around $2,100, although it is slightly down on the daily scale.
