US Judge Dismisses Binance Terror Financing Lawsuit

A US federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit against Binance, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, and its founder Changpeng Zhao. The lawsuit alleged that the exchange enabled terrorist financing through hundreds of millions of dollars in cryptocurrency transactions.

US District Judge Jeannette Vargas ruled that the plaintiffs failed to establish a credible connection between the defendants and terrorist activities. According to the court, the defendants' only link to the groups mentioned in the complaint was that they maintained accounts and conducted transactions on the exchange in an arm's-length relationship.
