Farage Defends Undeclared Crypto Billionaire Gift Worth $6.7 Million

Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, is facing scrutiny over an undeclared £5 million ($6.7 million) gift from Christopher Harborne, a British billionaire with a roughly 12% stake in Tether.

The Parliamentary Standards Commissioner has opened an investigation into whether Farage should have declared the gift after he won his seat as MP for Clacton in 2024.

Farage defended the gift, saying it was 'a purely private matter' and that he could spend the money on whatever he wants, including luxury cars or horses.
