Coinbase Introduces Stock Perpetual Futures Contracts for Non-US Customers
Coinbase, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has recently introduced stock perpetual futures contracts for non-US customers. This new feature allows traders from around the world to participate in the stock market with a higher level of flexibility and leverage.
The perpetual futures contracts enable traders to trade 24/7, providing real-time market access without the need for traditional trading hours. The contracts are cash-settled in USDC (a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar), which means that profits or losses are settled in USD rather than through the delivery of underlying assets.
One of the key benefits of these perpetual futures contracts is the ability to trade with significant leverage. Traders can take advantage of up to 10 times leverage on individual stocks and up to 20 times on ETF products, making it easier to profit from even small price movements.
