Binance Unveils Global Virtual Event and Enhanced Security Measures

Binance has announced its plans for a global virtual event titled 'Binance online', which aims to explore the intersection of traditional finance and blockchain-based platforms. The event is scheduled to take place on May 13 at 11:00 AM UTC, with more than four hours of programming planned.

The speaker lineup will feature figures from multiple sectors, including institutional finance, blockchain infrastructure, and digital asset markets. Topics expected to be discussed include the integration of artificial intelligence and financial services, stablecoins as cross-border payment tools, and the growing role of crypto in global finance.

In addition to the programming, Binance has also introduced a new security feature aimed at addressing physical coercion risks. The Withdraw Protection feature allows users to block all on-chain withdrawals for a chosen period of one to seven days, with a default duration of 48 hours.
