Upbit Lists OpenGradient's OPG Token Against KRW on July 7
South Korea's largest crypto exchange, Upbit, is expanding its trading options for OpenGradient's OPG token. The KRW pairing will be available starting July 7, following a successful debut against BTC and USDT on June 15 that saw trading volume spike by 600%. This move simplifies trading for Korean investors by removing previous bridging friction.
OPG is a decentralized AI infrastructure token with real usage metrics. These include over 2 million verifiable AI computations and 4,000 hosted models. The token has a capped supply of 1 billion, with about 20% currently circulating.
This may lead to price volatility as more tokens unlock. However, the KRW pairing signals strong local interest in OPG, which could be both an opportunity and a risk for investors. With low circulating supply, speculative risks are also present due to potential price fluctuations.
