Trump's Crypto Earnings Soar to $1 Billion in First Year of Second Term

US President Donald Trump's financial report for 2025 revealed his earnings from various cryptocurrency ventures, including 'meme coins' and World Liberty Financial. The report showed that he earned over $1 billion from these investments in the first year of his second term as president.

This figure greatly outweights his 2024 tally of $600 million. Trump's sons and their associates run a trust managing some of his businesses, according to the White House. A spokesperson denied any conflict of interest, saying 'all actions by President Trump and his administration are taken in the best interest of the American people.'

The president previously called cryptocurrency a 'scam' but has since made millions from it. His earnings include $635 million in royalties from a 'meme coin' that plunged in value after its launch, as well as over $500 million from World Liberty Financial.
