Chinese Investors Use Quantitative Trading to Secure Trump Dinner Tickets
A group of Chinese investors, led by bigsong, a quantitative trader, used sophisticated trading strategies to secure tickets to a dinner event with US President Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate. The entry rights were bought for $8,000 each, a fraction of the cost of attending a similar event.
The event was organized by Trump's team and attracted prominent figures from the crypto world, including Cathie Wood, Mike Tyson, and Tony Robbins. The attendees had to undergo security clearance, which was handled by the Secret Service and a third-party security firm.
