Pantera Capital Exerts Pressure on Satsuma Technology Over Bitcoin Holdings
Cryptocurrency investment firm Pantera Capital has sent a strong signal to Satsuma Technology, a London Stock Exchange-listed Bitcoin-focused treasury company.
Pantera, which holds approximately 7% of Satsuma's shares, is reportedly urging the company to sell its $50 million worth of Bitcoin and distribute the proceeds to shareholders.
This move suggests that some institutional investors are reevaluating their expectations regarding crypto asset management. While preserving Bitcoin assets can support long-term growth prospects, a decision to sell could boost shareholder satisfaction in the short term.
