Solana Founder Disputes Token Worthlessness Claims

Solana's founder Anatoly Yakovenko has disputed the notion that all blockchain tokens are worthless. According to him, some tokens, including those on Solana, offer real ownership and network rights.

Despite this, the value of Solana's native token SOL is currently around $81.67, down from its peak. The Solana ecosystem as a whole has a market value of approximately 195.71 billion dollars.

Solana is making changes to its token economy with new regulations such as SIMD 547, aiming to focus on preserving token value.
