Trump Administration's Crypto Holdings Raise Questions About Conflicts of Interest
President Donald Trump and his administration have been under scrutiny for their involvement in cryptocurrency-related investments, as revealed by federal ethics filings. The documents show that between January and March 2026, Trump and his officials made a significant number of trades in crypto-linked stocks, including Coinbase, MARA Holdings, and Strategy.
The total trading volume across the quarter fell between $220 million and $750 million, with some trades valued at over $100,000. It is worth noting that the filings do not disclose profits or losses, nor who executed the trades personally.
