Bithumb Pursues Recovery of Remaining Cryptocurrency After Payout Error

Bithumb's move is aimed at supporting its civil lawsuit to recover the funds from non-compliant recipients.

The exchange had previously announced that it recovered 99.7% of the funds on the same day as the incident, but a portion of the remaining 0.3%, or 1,788 BTC, had been sold and was covered by Bithumb's reserves.

However, some recipients have refused to return the remaining funds, citing that they are not responsible for the erroneous transfers.
