Cryptocurrency Market Faces Uncertain Near-Term Outlook
The cryptocurrency market is experiencing a fragile near-term outlook due to institutional selling pressure and valuation gaps. Bitcoin's price has slipped below the $75,000 mark, with net outflows from exchange-traded funds (ETFs) accumulating since mid-May.
According to Farside Investors, BTC ETFs have posted net outflows totaling about $1.88 billion since May 15. This signals a renewed wave of institutional selling pressure and potential reluctance to chase higher prices in the near term.
A prominent whale has been purchasing around 450 BTC per day for more than eight days using a time-weighted average price approach, signaling active demand on the downside. However, it remains unclear if this will translate into a broad market reversal.
