Bithumb, a major South Korean cryptocurrency exchange, will halt deposits and withdrawals of Pharos (PROS) tokens starting at 5:00 a.m. UTC on June 25 to facilitate a mainnet upgrade.
The network upgrade is aimed at improving security and scalability, according to Bithumb's notice. While the exact duration of the suspension is unknown, similar outages typically last several hours or until the upgrade is confirmed stable.
Users are advised to complete any pending PROS transactions before the cutoff time to avoid delays. Trading pairs involving PROS on Bithumb may also be affected, though the exchange has not specified any changes to spot trading.
