Renegade Recoveries Exceed $190K After Whitehat Hacker Returns Stolen Crypto
Renegade.fi has made significant progress in recovering from a recent exploit, with over $190,000 returned by a whitehat hacker.
The exploit, which targeted Renegade's V1 Arbitrum dark pool, was discovered on Sunday at 8:27 am UTC and resulted in approximately $209,000 being drained from the protocol.
Blockaid, a blockchain security firm, identified the vulnerability as stemming from faulty migration code introduced during an April 2025 software update. The issue allowed anyone to rewrite the smart contract connected to Renegade's V1 Arbitrum dark pool.
