Cryptocurrency Prices Slip in Late Friday Trading

Bitcoin's price has been trending downwards in late Friday trading, falling to $76,200. This marks a 1.7% decline from the previous day's close.

The decrease is not isolated to bitcoin, as other major cryptocurrencies have also experienced significant drops. Ether, solana, and XRP have all seen their prices fall by more than bitcoin, indicating a broader market trend.

Despite this, US stocks remain relatively stable ahead of the three-day weekend. The Nasdaq has gained 0.3% in recent trading, suggesting that investors are not yet spooked by the decline in cryptocurrency prices.
