Chainlink's Price Takes a Hit Amid Geopolitical Uncertainty
Chainlink's price has been affected by the current geopolitical climate, causing it to trade below its key exponential moving averages (EMAs). This has resulted in a disconnect between the cryptocurrency's fundamental value and its technical price structure.
The oracle layer processing $18 billion monthly through CCIP, serving as the settlement reference for JPMorgan and ANZ institutional operations, and sitting at the centre of Grayscale's tokenization thesis should be commanding a premium. However, due to elevated real yields, LINK's yield from holding is zero, making it less attractive to institutional capital.
Perplexity's LINK price tracker confirmed that the market has already resolved all price levels at $8 and below, with the primary resistance now at $10. InvestingHaven placed LINK's 2026 range between $7 and $22, maintaining the lower end of that range as the near-term reality.
