XRP Ledger Sees 28-Fold Growth in Tokenized Assets to $4.18 Billion

The XRP Ledger has seen a significant surge in tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), reaching $4.18 billion last month, a growth of 28 times from $147 million a year ago.

This increase is driven mainly by institutional-grade products such as commodity tokens and credit instruments.

The growth highlights the potential of blockchain to streamline traditional finance by enabling faster issuance, transfer, and settlement. This is exemplified by a recent live cross-border transaction settled in under five seconds between JPMorgan Chase and Mastercard.
