TrustLinq Bolsters Global Payment Infrastructure with Ripple Integration
Swiss-based TrustLinq, a payment service provider for cryptocurrencies, has partnered with Ripple to expand its global reach. By integrating Ripple's Payments technology into its backend system, the company can now facilitate direct crypto-to-fiat transfers in over 170 countries and more than 80 currencies.
The integration enables users to send stablecoins from self-custodial wallets, which are then settled as local bank transfers directly into recipients' accounts. This approach differs from traditional off-ramps, where exchanges or intermediaries are often required. With TrustLinq's service, recipients do not need a crypto wallet or platform account.
The addition of Ripple Payments provides real-time settlement options and supports multiple payment rails alongside existing systems like SEPA, SWIFT, and ACH. Currently, the platform supports major stablecoins including USDT on ERC-20 and TRC-20, as well as USDC and EURC.
