Cardano Price Prediction Update: Changelly Estimates $0.45 by Year-End

Cardano (ADA), one of the largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, has seen its price prediction updated by Changelly, a leading cryptocurrency exchange. According to Changelly's estimate, Cardano is expected to reach $0.45 by year-end, representing nearly double the current spot price.

The update comes as Cardano is set to undergo a significant hard fork, known as Van Rossem, in Q2 2026. This hard fork will introduce new Plutus built-in functions that expand smart contract capabilities, which could have a positive impact on the token's value.

However, despite this development, short interest has risen to its highest level since June 2023, creating a tense standoff between builders and sellers. Some holders have begun allocating to the Taur0x IO (TAUX) decentralized hedge fund protocol, which offers a different kind of math for investors.
