Kraken Brings On-Chain Trading Directly into Mobile App

cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has launched an upgrade to its mobile app, enabling users to engage in on-chain trading of thousands of tokens directly within the platform. The update, announced on June 18, 2026, eliminates traditional hurdles associated with decentralized finance, making advanced crypto opportunities more accessible to everyday investors.

The new feature is available to eligible customers in over 100 countries and allows them to buy, sell, and hold more than 2,500 Solana-based tokens straight from the Kraken app. This selection includes numerous emerging assets that have yet to appear on any centralized exchange, providing early access to innovative projects and fast-moving communities.

On-chain positions integrate seamlessly into the existing portfolio view alongside traditional Kraken holdings, creating a unified experience. Trading occurs in USD or USDC through the app's standard interface, while the underlying technology operates transparently in the background.
