Arbitrum Secures $71M in Assets Following Kelp DAO Security Breach

Arbitrum's recent emergency response has garnered attention within the cryptocurrency community following a major security breach on April 19. On Monday evening, Arbitrum's Security Council executed a freeze on 30,766 ETH valued at roughly $71 million that was traced to the Kelp DAO exploit.

The compromised address can no longer access the frozen Ethereum, and the secured funds were relocated to an intermediary address requiring additional governance authorization for any future access. This move represents one of the most significant single recovery efforts undertaken in response to the security breach thus far.
