Binance Flags Nine Cryptocurrencies Over Compliance Concerns
Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has taken steps to address potential compliance risks by adding a Monitoring Tag to nine tokens.
The affected tokens are Contentos (COS), Dego Finance (DEGO), Ampleforth Governance Token (FORTH), FUNToken (FUN), Hooked Protocol (HOOK), Loopring (LRC), MOBOX (MBOX), Orchid (OXT), and WIF. If these tokens fail to meet Binance's standards, they could be delisted from the exchange.
Binance evaluates projects based on various factors, including dev activity, trading volume, network security, and compliance with regulatory requests. Tokens with a Monitoring Tag are subject to more frequent checks and may require users to pass a risk quiz every 90 days.
