Bitcoin Holds Steady Above $63,000 as Crypto Market Value Hits $2.2 Trillion

Crypto prices rose on Friday, but Bitcoin's performance was relatively flat. The largest cryptocurrency stayed above $63,000 as US Treasury yields edged higher.

Bitcoin gained about 1% in the past day to around $63,929, contributing to a total crypto market value of approximately $2.2 trillion. Meanwhile, Ethereum rose 2.6% to roughly $1,794, outperforming Bitcoin's move. Other major tokens experienced mixed results.

The activity level also provided some insight into the market's dynamics. Bitcoin's 24-hour trading volume fell 1.7% to $25.9 billion, even as total crypto trading volume across the industry rose 3.1% to $64.9 billion.
