FingerMotion Partners with BlueFlare for AI Compute Infrastructure in Western Canada

FingerMotion, a company specializing in AI and high-performance computing infrastructure, has announced a significant development in its North American expansion plans. The company has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with BlueFlare Energy Solutions to develop behind-the-meter AI compute infrastructure in Western Canada.

The MOU contemplates the deployment of BlueFlare's adaptive load management platform to prioritize AI inference workloads, using bitcoin mining mainly to balance loads and ensure gas continuity at each site. The collaboration aims to leverage Western Canada's abundant natural gas and supportive policies that encourage developers to bring their own power, positioning behind-the-meter natural gas generation as a potentially cost-advantaged alternative to grid-dependent data centers.
