PAYWARD ACQUIRES BITNOMIAL IN $550 MILLION DEAL
The acquisition is a strategic move by Payward to establish a fully regulated derivatives platform in the U.S. Bitnomial, the target company, has spent over a decade building the necessary infrastructure for crypto settlement and market design under U.S. regulation.
With this deal, Kraken will gain a direct route into a broader U.S. derivatives offering, supporting a regulated suite of products including spot margin, perpetual contracts, and options. The acquisition also opens up new channels for institutions to access regulated U.S. derivatives through a single API.
