Cardano Expands into Global Digital Payments with Wirex Partnership

Cardano's expansion into global digital payments has taken a significant step forward with its latest partnership.

EMURGO, the co-founding entity of the Cardano blockchain, has teamed up with Wirex to bring commercial adoption of blockchain technology and asset tokenization into real-world payment environments.

The Cardano Card, integrated directly into the Wirex app, allows users to spend over 685 cryptocurrencies, including ADA, BTC, ETH, and USDC, anywhere Visa is accepted. This integration enables users to access a range of features, including rewards, borrowing, yield, and staking options.
