Ethereum MEV Bot Jaredfromsubway.eth Suffers $7.5M Exploit via Transaction Approval Trap

The Ethereum MEV bot 'Jaredfromsubway.eth' has been exploited for approximately $7.5 million via a transaction-approval trap, highlighting security risks for automated bots and on-chain trading.

According to an analysis by Blockaid, the attacker used custom smart contracts to manipulate the bot into executing unprofitable sandwich trades, ultimately draining its contract balance.

The exploit targeted a vulnerability in the bot's router contract, showcasing that even sophisticated automated systems can be susceptible to protocol-level smart contract traps.
