Estonia Warns Zondacrypto Over Alleged MiCA Token Disclosure Violations

The Estonian Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority has taken action against Zondacrypto, a Polish crypto exchange operated by BB Trade Estonia OÜ.

According to the authority's investor warning, the platform failed to publicly disclose a whitepaper when launching the TeamPL token, violating Article 9(1) of the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation. This regulation mandates ongoing disclosure requirements for token issuers.

Zondacrypto is currently under investigation in Poland regarding user withdrawal issues and a dispute over access to a cold wallet containing approximately 4,500 BTC.
