Kraken Expands US Derivatives Market with CFTC-Regulated Perpetual Futures

Kraken, a leading cryptocurrency platform, is poised to make a significant breakthrough in the US derivatives market with the launch of CFTC-regulated perpetual futures.

The move marks a major development for US traders who have previously been restricted in their access to these contracts. Perpetual futures are a type of derivative that allows traders to speculate on the price of an underlying asset without having to own it.

Through its partnership with Bitnomial, Kraken's perpetual futures will be available on its trading platform, Kraken Pro. This will provide domestic access alongside spot, margin, and CME-listed futures, giving US traders a unified view of crypto derivatives within a single interface.
