SEC Appoints Chainlink Veteran to Crypto Task Force, Potential Price Impact
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has made a significant appointment that could impact the Chainlink price: Taylor Lindman, formerly of Chainlink Labs, will serve as the new Chief Counsel for its Crypto Task Force. This development marks a change in the agency's approach to regulating cryptocurrencies, with a focus on technical proficiency over enforcement.
Lindman brings five years of experience as deputy general counsel at Chainlink, where he specialized in global regulatory strategy and smart contract compliance. He replaces Michael Selig, who left the role in December 2025 to chair the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
