Sui has expanded its decentralized finance (DeFi) capabilities with the launch of a new app that enables users to leverage and earn yield from tokenized physical gold. The app, built on Sui's Mainnet, utilizes Creek Finance's core protocol and integrates Matrixdock's tokenized gold XAUm.

XAUm is backed by physical gold, providing a secure store of value, with third-party audits and on-chain reserve proofs ensuring its authenticity. This integration marks a significant step in the adoption of Real-World Assets (RWA) in DeFi, allowing users to fully realize the benefits of on-chain borrowing and yield generation.
