Web3 Firms Back Internet Court to Resolve AI Agent Disputes
The GenLayer Foundation has launched the Internet Court, a decentralized dispute resolution system for AI agent transactions. This initiative brings together 27 companies across blockchain, artificial intelligence, and digital payment sectors to create a shared framework for machine-speed payments, escrow, and conflict resolution.
The project focuses on solving disputes between AI agents that can negotiate agreements, transfer funds, and complete transactions without direct human involvement. As AI-driven commerce expands, the need for faster dispute resolution increases, making it difficult for traditional legal systems to keep up with automated transactions that occur within seconds.
According to David Riudor, CEO and co-founder of GenLayer Foundation, AI-powered financial activity requires a dispute system capable of matching transaction speeds. The Internet Court combines several functions, including AI-based payments, escrow services, identity tools, and dispute resolution features, making it a potential foundation for future AI-driven economies.
