US Senators Block Sam Bankman-Fried's Pardon Push in Congress

Cynthia Lummis, a Republican from Wyoming, and Ruben Gallego, an Arizona Democrat, will introduce legislation on Wednesday urging Trump to deny Bankman-Fried's request for clemency. The resolution, which is not binding, aims to seek unanimous consent from all senators.

Lummis and Gallego are both members of the Banking Committee and have been instrumental in shaping cryptocurrency market regulations. They plan to use this opportunity to emphasize their efforts to create a stable framework for digital assets.
