Crypto Market Dips Amid 'Extreme Fear'
The cryptocurrency market has experienced significant fluctuations over the past day, with notable dips across key assets. Bitcoin's price has dropped by 4.96%, reaching $60,131.22, while Ethereum's price has fallen by 11.46% to $1,531.00. In contrast, several smaller cryptocurrencies have seen substantial gains, including PEPE TRUMP, Hold BTC, and TRUMP MOG, which have increased by 397.85%, 281.06%, and 261.01%, respectively.
Decentralized Finance (DeFi) TVL has also declined by 5.73% to $69.487B, while the total NFT trading volume has surged by 74.3% to $2,690,159.
The Russian Central Bank has imposed restrictions on retail crypto trading, limiting non-qualified investors to trading USDT, ETH, and BTC. Additionally, a hacker group known as JINX-0164 has targeted crypto developers via LinkedIn, infecting their machines with modified macOS malware.
