Cardano's Midnight Partnership Teased in Japan: Hoskinson Reveals Surprise Deal

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has hinted at a major partnership for Midnight in Japan. This new development comes as Cardano's commercial arm, EMURGO, announced partnerships with Japanese fintech company Slash Vision Labs and crypto platform SecondFi. These collaborations will allow Japanese users to order the Cardano Card and spend stablecoins across Japan's payment network.

Hoskinson mentioned that a new agreement has been secured for Midnight in Japan, which is connected to NIGHT, the token powering the Midnight ecosystem. He stated, 'There's something we did get done for Midnight. It's paired with the liquidity of NIGHT in Japan. That's real exciting. I never thought I'd make a deal with that particular company.'

The Cardano community has been speculating about the potential partnership, but Hoskinson declined to reveal the name of the company involved. The news is significant as Midnight is one of Cardano's biggest upcoming projects, focusing on privacy and confidential transactions while remaining compliant with regulations.
