OKX Ventures and Korea Investment & Securities Invest in South Korean Crypto Exchange

OKX Ventures, the investment arm of global crypto exchange OKX, has joined forces with Korea Investment & Securities (KIS) to acquire a significant stake in Coinone, one of South Korea's largest crypto exchanges.

The two companies will take on equal shares, approximately 20% each, worth around $53 million. This investment is seen as a strategic move to tap into the country's emerging digital asset market.

Korea Investment & Securities has emphasized that this partnership aims to expand beyond traditional finance and into blockchain-based services such as tokenized securities and stablecoins.
