SEB Asset Management AB has acquired a new position in Coinbase Global, Inc. (NASDAQ:COIN), a U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange platform founded by Brian Armstrong and Fred Ehrsam in 2012.
The firm purchased 42,228 shares of the company's stock valued at approximately $7.37 million during the first quarter of this year, according to its most recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Other institutional investors and hedge funds have also recently added or reduced their stakes in Coinbase Global.
