Celsius Co-Founders Permanently Barred From Crypto Marketing

Celsius co-founders Alexander Mashinsky and Shlomi Daniel Leon have received permanent court orders banning them from marketing or offering various crypto and asset-services products.

The bans, which follow the founders into future roles and include assisted activity, are more durable than the $16.5 million obligations they face, as reported by the FTC.

The orders prohibit advertising, marketing, promoting, offering, or distributing products or services used to deposit, exchange, invest, or withdraw assets, or assisting in those activities.

Goldstein's order focuses on retail crypto and prohibits advertising, marketing, promoting, or offering for sale retail products or services used to buy, sell, deposit, withdraw, distribute, or trade cryptocurrency, or assist in those sales and marketing activities.
