Ethereum Unveils Lean Ethereum Roadmap for Quantum Resistance by 2029

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has introduced a new roadmap for the Ethereum network called 'Lean Ethereum', which aims to enhance quantum resistance, privacy, and scalability by 2029. Developed in collaboration with researcher Justin Drake, this plan seeks to simplify Ethereum's layer-1 protocol, integrate post-quantum cryptographic signatures, and reduce validator complexity.

The initiative is designed to protect Ethereum against future quantum computing threats while preserving decentralization and user freedom.
