Shiba Eternity Revamp: Shiba Inu Dev Unveils Relaunch Plans with Built-In P2E Features

The Shiba Inu community is in for a treat as developer Mazrael revealed that Shiba Eternity, the mobile card game featuring strategic dog-fighting, will be relaunched with new features. The game was temporarily paused along with the metaverse to allow for updates and progress.

Originally launched in 2022, Shiba Eternity had a successful debut on App Store & Google Play, serving as an opener to the Play With SHIB campaign. However, with the crypto winter kicking in after its October 2022 debut, the non-fungible token market went into a downward slope, hitting blockchain gaming sentiment.

The re-launch date is not confirmed, but SHIB Army members on X are marking their calendars for a late 2026, early 2027 launch of the remodelled Shiba Eternity version with built-in P2E features. Developer Mazrael also announced that Shiboshis, player-owned characters in the dog-fighting game, will be able to assemble their own strengths and characteristics via game experience or add-ons.

The relaunch is expected to include a revamped gameplay system, improved Boshi Assembler, and Shiboshi-building toolkit on Shiba Eternity P2E. The dev team also confirmed that the Metaverse project will relaunch solely on SHIB.io, with the satellite game SHIBKart, a retro racing kart game suitable for smartphones & tablets.
